Default Event Background

The Youth Employment and Training Programme (YETP) of the Labour Department will organise IKEA Recruitment Day on 5 March 2026 (Thursday).  The Dairy Farm Company, Limited will provide employment opportunities to YETP trainees and interested young people by offering 17 on-the-job training vacancies including “Full-Time Sales Co-worker”, “Part-Time Sales Co-worker”, “Full-Time Food Co-worker” and “Part-Time Food Co-worker”.

Successful applicants will undergo on-the-job training with pay for a period of 6 months of employment.

A gift will be offered on-site to YETP Trainees and job seekers eligible for YETP. 

Those who have previously worked in the above participating company or its related companies under any forms of employment or services are not eligible for the posts offered in the above Recruitment Day.

By participating in the on-the-job training, young people can know more about themselves and their career aspiration.  They can also acquire vocational skills and working experience so as to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.

If the Black Rainstorm Signal, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or “extreme conditions” is issued / announced to be issued within 3 hours before the start of the recruitment event, or any of the above signal / warning is still in force during the said period, the recruitment event will be cancelled.  Please check the related announcements in YETP website for updates.
