CCA Cup AI Design & Creation Competition 2026
In recent years, the development of AI has advanced by leaps and bounds, and the integration of AI with Chinese culture has become a hot topic. Chinese mythology, rich in content and imagination, is an indispensable part of ancient culture. This competition, themed "Chinese Mythology," aims to encourage participants to unleash their creativity by combining intelligence with tradition, using AI-generated imagery to present the essence of various myths.
Categories:
  • Junior Secondary Group: (Secondary 1 to Secondary 3)
  • Senior Secondary Group: (Secondary 4 to Secondary 6)
Theme:
Select one of the following mythical stories to create an AI-generated artwork:
"Pangu Creates the World," "Nuwa Creates Mankind," "Gonggong Crashing into Mount Buzhou," "Jingwei Filling the Sea," or "Xingtian Dances with the Gak (Shield and Axe)."
 
Specifications:
  1. Works must be AI-generated; there is no restriction on the AI platform used. The platform or software must be specified upon submission.
  2. Works must include a text prompt (in Chinese or English) within a 300-word limit.
  3. The format must be a JPEG file in high resolution, not exceeding 10MB.
  4. Participants may edit their work (e.g., adding text descriptions).
  5. Entries must be original works that have not been published or entered into other competitions.
 
Registration & Submission:
Please complete the online registration form and upload your work via the designated link or email.
 
Deadline:
May 22, 2026 (Friday)
Results Announcement:
June 23, 2026 (Tuesday) on the official website chineseca.org.hk and Facebook page. Winners will be notified via email.

Junior Secondary Group:
  • 1st Prize (1): $1,000 Book Voucher & Certificate
  • 2nd Prize (1): $800 Book Voucher & Certificate
  • 3rd Prize (1): $600 Book Voucher & Certificate
  • Merit Award (Several): $400 Book Voucher & Certificate each
Senior Secondary Group:
  • 1st Prize (1): $1,200 Book Voucher & Certificate
  • 2nd Prize (1): $1,000 Book Voucher & Certificate
  • 3rd Prize (1): $800 Book Voucher & Certificate
  • Merit Award (Several): $600 Book Voucher & Certificate each
 

 
Notes & Regulations:
  1. Participants must abide by the rules and accept the judges' final decision. No appeals will be entertained.
  2. Entries must align with the theme and be unpublished.
  3. The organizer owns the right to use, promote, exhibit, and publish the winning entries. No entries will be returned.
  4. Entries must not contain defamatory, political, pornographic, or violent content, nor infringe on intellectual property rights.
  5. Plagiarism or imitation will lead to disqualification and the recovery of prizes.
  6. Inaccurate or incomplete information may lead to disqualification.
  7. Winners will be notified via email; please ensure a clear and correct email address is provided.
  8. Winners must follow instructions to complete procedures within the timeframe, or the prize will be forfeited.
  9. Winning works will be exhibited at the Association hall or uploaded to social media/websites.
  10. The organizer reserves the right to reduce the number of awards if the entries do not meet the standards.
  11. The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation and amendment of these regulations.
