Reverse Treasure Hunting

Event Details

In a treasure-hunting game, the key to outpacing others lies in mastering the ability to interpret scaled diagrams. Our instructors from HKUST will introduce the fundamental concepts of scale representation and guide participants through a structured, progressive approach to decoding the information embedded in maps. Students will also have the opportunity to apply the map-reading techniques learned in class as they navigate various locations across the HKUST campus in search of hidden treasures.

Class A: 16 July (Thu) 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Class B: 16 July (Thu)2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Class C: 18 July (Sat) 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Class D: 18 July (Sat)2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

*The four classes have identical contents.

Venue:

HKUST Campus and Classrooms

Language:

Cantonese (All teaching materials and workshops are written in Traditional Chinese)

Target:

Children aged 9-12 in Primary 4 to 6

*Applicants are required to submit a copy of the student record page.
