To promote innovation in product design education, Intelligent CAD/CAM Technology Ltd. (ICT) is relaunching the SOLIDWORKS 3D Design Contest this year. The success of previous competitions has been made possible through the enthusiastic support of educators and professional judging panels. The contest has attracted participation from over a hundred secondary school and tertiary students across Hong Kong, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response.

The competition will utilize SOLIDWORKS for product design and development, while incorporating STEM learning concepts to encourage participants to showcase their creativity through innovative designs. We hope to inspire more students with passion and potential in product design to participate, unleash their creativity from everyday life, and demonstrate their limitless potential.

• Enable students to master 3D design skills using SOLIDWORKS
• Strengthen secondary school learning foundations and bridge pathways to tertiary and university education
• Encourage students to pursue careers in design and engineering, nurturing future engineering talent
• Integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education concepts
• Guide students to apply design thinking to solve real-world problems

【Eligibility】

This competition is open to:

• Full-time secondary school students in Hong Kong or Macau
• Participation is free of charge

【Theme】

Smart Home Living Products:
Design solutions that address practical problems in modern family life and enhance convenience, safety, and comfort. Examples include storage products, elderly-friendly designs, energy-saving solutions, multifunctional furniture, and more.

【Awards & Prizes】

All shortlisted participants who attend the final judging session will receive:

• Certificate of Participation
• SOLIDWORKS CSWA International Certification Exam Voucher (valued at HK$800)

Winning students will receive:

• Gold Award
• Silver Award
• Bronze Award

Each award-winning student will receive prizes and certificates.
The total prize value exceeds HK$5,000.
