Oxfam "Eat Fair Campaign" - Hunger-free Action

Default Event Background

Through Hunger-free Action, students will learn about environmentally and socially responsible dietary practices. We aim at inspiring them to support underprivileged groups facing poverty and hunger by promoting sustainable eating habits within campus, putting the concept of 'Eat Fair' into practice.

 

Action Details :

  1. Schools can select their own dates to organise donation events or conduct fundraising activities within the designated activity period.
  2. Students and teachers can donate $30 lunch fee and get an Eat Fair Campaign souvenir.
  3. Oxfam can arrange a free 30-minute 'Eat Fair Talk' to help teachers and students better understand related issues. (A minimum of two grades or 150 students are required to participate in Hunger-free Action before a talk can be arranged.)
  4. Top 3 classes in each school with highest amount of donations will be awarded commendation certificate and “Captain Farmer” board game.
  5. Participating schools will be commended as "Eat Fair School" and awarded certificate and commendation stand.
