With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, generative AI has become a powerful assistant in education. It not only enriches lesson design and increases classroom interaction and engagement, but can also be applied to school administration to reduce teachers’ workload.

EdCity, together with Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College and Google, proudly presents the Digital Education and AI Professional Training Series. The cross-disciplinary co-learning team of Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College, together with Google for Education experts, will share how generative AI can be applied in various teaching scenarios. AI can provide teaching materials, support the building of thinking training frameworks, and enable innovative cross curricular practices.

First Seminar of the Series: Focus on Chinese Language Education
In recent years, many students have faced challenges in learning Chinese. How to enhance the fun and motivation of learning Chinese, and how to make use of technology to help students grasp the language more easily, has become one of the hot topics. Therefore, the first seminar will focus on Chinese Language education, demonstrating how AI can enhance learning efficiency. Practical teaching examples will be provided, such as using AI generated images to connect imagination with emotion, enriching students’ learning experience and strengthening outcomes in reading, writing, and cultural appreciation.
