This seminar will introduce the practical applications of self hosted artificial intelligence systems in school administration and teaching, helping teachers understand how technology can be used to improve everyday workflows. The session will demonstrate how an on site AI system can be established to integrate calendars, meeting records and student information, while also supporting common administrative tasks such as timetable enquiries and cover arrangements. In addition, the seminar will showcase how AI can be applied to lesson preparation, question generation and marking, and explain how learning data can be used to produce differentiated materials that cater for students with varying abilities. Through these demonstrations, teachers will gain insight into the role of AI in lesson planning, classroom interaction and learning support, and consider how such tools may be appropriately incorporated into their daily teaching practice.
