As AI is increasingly integrated into classroom practice, the focus of Chinese and Putonghua language teaching has shifted towards how AI can be effectively used to enhance student learning and to develop classroom practices that are centred on learning outcomes. This sharing session brings together frontline teaching experience and educational technology practice to illustrate practical ways in which AI can be applied in language education, from pedagogical principles to everyday classroom implementation. Key areas of discussion include addressing diverse learning needs, improving the quality of teaching and learning, and supporting teachers in reducing repetitive administrative and marking tasks, offering schools and educators clear and practical reference points for implementation.
