This seminar explores the opportunities for language education in the context of rapid AI development. It will introduce and demonstrate different types of AI writing and creating tools, and examine how these tools can support students throughout the writing process — from idea generation and drafting to revision and publication — making learning to write more interactive and engaging.
The seminar will also cover how AI can inspire story ideas, provide grammar and vocabulary suggestions, and transform text into images or digital storybooks, enabling students to engage in creative work through diverse modes of expression. Practical classroom examples will be shared to explore how teachers can integrate AI tools into both Chinese and English writing lessons, supporting students in building their writing confidence and expressive skills.
