Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) Parent Seminar Series aims to provide parents and students with more information on learning and teaching, in response to their keen demand for higher education information. Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) program selection and DSE applications for mainland Chinese universities will be taking place in the first term of 2026/27 school year. Designed to help prospective Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) students and their parents navigate the latest admissions data and programme selection strategies for universities in Hong Kong and mainland China; this parent seminar will guide you in making the right choice.
The parent seminar “Decoding JUPAS Multi-Strategy Planning for University Admissions” has invited higher education experts from Hok Yau Club to share JUPAS selection and ranking strategies, analyse admission requirements and educational trends, and examine how to formulate further studies strategy based on students' abilities, interests, and career goals.
In addition, given that an increasing number of Hong Kong students are considering using their HKDSE results to apply for mainland Chinese universities programmes in recent years, this seminar will also introduce the latest information and application procedures for studying in the mainland. It aims to help parents and students better understand the competitive advantages of studying in mainland universities and career opportunities after graduation. The seminar will also discuss which professional subjects allow for direct practice upon returning to Hong Kong. We hope parents and children can have more comprehensive backup plans alongside their JUPAS applications.
