In an era of rapid advances in artificial intelligence, schools are facing new educational challenges: how to leverage AI to enhance teaching and learning efficiency while supporting students’ independent thinking, emotional wellbeing and cross‑disciplinary competence. This seminar will explore practical applications of AI in schools, demonstrating how intelligent technologies can help create future learning spaces and support teachers in lesson preparation, instruction and assessment. The programme will also present case studies on AI in interdisciplinary learning, behavioural and emotional monitoring, and digital education leadership, enabling educators to understand key capabilities required in the AI era and to support the sustainable development of smart campuses

An overview of how AI can be integrated into school‑based teaching and assessment, including personalised learning resource generation and real‑time learning analytics, supporting schools in building an integrated teaching–learning–assessment–evaluation environment for future learning.
• AI + Behavioural and Emotional Monitoring
An introduction to the application of visual AI in schools, covering student emotional‑state monitoring, behavioural‑pattern analysis, on‑campus movement tracking, temperature screening and access management, supported by multi‑dimensional data for campus‑risk alerts.
• Introduction to the Zhejiang University Digital Education Leadership Programme
A briefing on the Digital Education Leadership Programme organised by the Intelligent Education Research Centre of Zhejiang University, designed for principals and vice‑principals of Hong Kong primary and secondary schools. The programme covers topics such as future sports space planning, digital education strategies, mental health support and home–school collaboration. Upon completion, participants will receive a joint certificate issued by the Continuing Education Centre of the College of Computer Science and Technology and the Intelligent Education Research Centre of Zhejiang University.
