As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in schools, the focus has shifted from whether AI should be used to how it can be applied safely, effectively and sustainably to support teaching, learning and school operations. Taking a teacher‑centred perspective, this seminar draws on frontline teaching experience and school administration insights to examine the role of AI in classroom learning and day‑to‑day school operations, and to support teachers in developing an AI application mindset grounded in professional judgment. Drawing on local, school‑based examples, the seminar explores how generative AI can be applied to teaching and administrative work, and how clear principles and safety measures canhelp turn AI from a concept into feasible, replicable, and sustainable school‑based practices, covering the key areas of teaching, administration and school‑based implementation.
