To promote a better understanding of our nation, Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) is organising the "National Identity (NI) App Design Competition 2026/27" from October 2026 to April 2027, offering a multitude of opportunities for students to:
▶ Explore innovative technology and integrate it with national elements, thereby experiencing the development of our nation.
▶ Deepen their understanding of the nation, cultivate a national concept and foster a stronger sense of national identity.
▶ Promote collaboration among peers and related objectives by innovative means, encouraging a deeper understanding of the close relationship between the Mainland and Hong Kong. 

To support of this year's "National Identity App Design Competition 2026/27," EdCity is holding a competition briefing session on October 26 to introduce the entry requirements, important dates, and judging criteria to teachers and students. The session will be open to upper primary and junior secondary students, as well as their guiding teachers.
